KELOWNA NEWCOMERS ALUMNI SOCIETY WAIVER

By signing this waiver form I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms of this membership agreement for the duration of my membership with Kelowna Newcomers Alumni.

  1. I understand and accept that I am legally responsible for all damage to persons or property which may result from or arise in connection with my participation in the course of Kelowna Newcomers Alumni (KNA) meetings, social events or interest group activities held by or organized for the members of the KNA. 

2. I also understand that participation in KNA Activities shall be at my own risk and I unconditionally and voluntarily assume the entire risk of any and all accidents, incidents or personal injury, including death, which I may suffer, however caused. 

3. I unconditionally and irrevocably release and discharge the KNA from any and all actions, claims or demands, which I or my heirs or successors may now or at any time hereafter have against the KNA, whether for any loss, damage or injury to me or any property or otherwise arising out of participation in KNA Activities, even if the loss, damage or injury may have been contributed to by any act or failure to act (including, without limitation, negligence) of the KNA. 

4. I unconditionally and irrevocably indemnify the KNA from and against any claim, action, demand, loss, cost, damage, expense or liability suffered or incurred by me or the KNA in connection with my participation in the Activities even if the loss, damage or injury may have been contributed to by any act or failure to act (including, without limitation, negligence) of the KNA. 

5. I authorize the KNA to collect my name, address, telephone number and e-mail address for the sole purpose of notifying me of KNA events and providing a roster of names and contact information to KNA members only. The KNA will not sell, disseminate or otherwise provide my name and information to any other organization, and I agree not to sell, disseminate or otherwise share this membership data information outside KNA.
